The is week I’ve done the hardest thing I believe I’ll ever have to do. I had to say goodbye to my best friend, my confidant, my cheerleader, my alarm clock, my diary, my therapist, my everything. ..My Mom. There are no words to describe how I feel, no way to quantify the things that have gone through my mind. Life will never be the same, but I’m told it gets easier. Only time will tell, but what I can say is that now she is in a safe place. And with everyday that passes I miss her more: her smile, her laugh, her advice and most importantly her love. I will do my best to be the woman she taught me to be with ” Patience and Compassion. ” Rest in peace Mom knowing that you left us with a Dad worth well beyond his weight in gold. And the ability to surround ourselves with true friends that will be that crutch when we need it.
